There are eight extraction wells on the site. Each pump is controlled by a frequency converter. There are also probes in each well to determine the water level.
Two robust outdoor control cabinets containing both PLC modules and eight powerful frequency inverters are located on the shopping center premises. In each well room there is a small control cabinet that evaluates the signals from the probes and switches off the pump if necessary.
There is a control cabinet in the operating room of the shopping center that supplies the system with power. A PLC is also installed there, to which an HMI is connected, via which the system can be controlled and monitored.
Depending on the requirements, the system automatically determines which pumps are operated with which output. The calculation takes into account the respective operating hours.
