Control cabinet for independent extinguishing water supply

Project description

The control of the pump is located in a robust control cabinet, which has a clear arrangement of operating elements to be able to control and monitor the pump.
Since the power supply to the cabinet could be disrupted by the power grid in an emergency, it must be possible to connect a generator. Therefore, there is also a mains changeover switch in the control cabinet. A junction box is installed next to the control cabinet, to which the generator can be connected if necessary.

Both the control cabinet and the junction box are protected in a larger control cabinet.

Discipline

The suction height for pumps is physically limited. For this reason, deep well pumps are used to force the water up from the well should the water level be too low for suction pumps.
If an independent supply of extinguishing water must be ensured, deep well pumps may therefore also be required.
